Working Late at Night

I am not too keen on working late or burning the midnight oil. But sometimes I am left without a choice. And sometimes, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do ...

Work is of course never ending. It continues to pile up as the day goes by. But life should be lived in a proper way, for there is more to life than just work, work, & work ... Too much work can be stressful. Yet too little work can ultimately be monotonous & dry.

Balance is probably the key to all of them.

Lately ...

Lately, I have had some perplexities and mixed feelings. Those old malicious thoughts about my waywardness in the past kept on coming back to haunt me. I was baffled, stupefied and confused. I couldn't get my thoughts into focus. Hazardous ... ridiculous ... preposterous ...

All of a sudden, that not-quite-forgotten Stevie Wonder tune "Lately" keeps emerging into mind ... playing & humming around in my head ...
